These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cavibe website, mobile application, platform, features, products, and services, including www.campus.ng and canvibe.app (collectively, the "Platform").

By accessing, registering for, or using Cavibe, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional terms, guidelines, or policies that may apply to specific features of the Platform.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not access or use Cavibe.

1. About Cavibe

Cavibe is a social platform that enables users to connect, communicate, share content, participate in communities, discover content and people, interact with creators, access marketplace features, play games, participate in live experiences, and use other services made available through the Platform.

Users of Cavibe are referred to as "Canvibers."

Cavibe may introduce new features, services, products, or functionality from time to time. Such features may be subject to additional terms or guidelines.

2. Eligibility and Your Account

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity carried out through your account.

You must not:

• Create an account using false or misleading information.
• Impersonate another person, organization, or entity.
• Create an account for another person without authorization.
• Use another Canviber's account without permission.
• Maintain accounts for fraudulent or abusive purposes.
• Attempt to circumvent restrictions placed on your account.

You are responsible for notifying Cavibe if you believe your account has been compromised or accessed without authorization.

3. Access to Cavibe

Subject to these Terms, Cavibe grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access and use the Platform for lawful purposes.

You may not:

• Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit access to Cavibe except where expressly permitted.
• Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Platform without authorization.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover the source code of the Platform.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Cavibe systems, accounts, servers, or networks.
• Use automated systems, bots, scripts, crawlers, or similar tools to access or collect information from Cavibe without authorization.
• Use Cavibe to develop or operate a competing service in violation of applicable rights or agreements.
• Interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the Platform.

Cavibe may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Platform where reasonably necessary.

4. Canviber Content

"Canviber Content" means information, photographs, videos, audio, text, comments, posts, messages, profiles, livestreams, listings, advertisements, graphics, and other materials submitted, uploaded, transmitted, or shared by a Canviber.

You remain responsible for the content you submit to Cavibe.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit your content and that your content does not violate these Terms, applicable laws, or the rights of another person.

You should not upload or share content that you do not have permission to use.

4.1 License to Cavibe

By submitting content to Cavibe, you grant Cavibe a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, communicate, and technically modify your content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, promote, and provide the Platform and its services.

This license continues for as long as necessary for Cavibe to provide the relevant services and to comply with applicable legal obligations.

You retain ownership of your original content unless otherwise agreed.

5. Community Standards and Acceptable Use

Cavibers must use the Platform responsibly and respectfully.

You must not use Cavibe to:

• Upload or distribute unlawful content.
• Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or abuse another person.
• Promote violence or credible threats of harm.
• Share content that violates another person's privacy.
• Impersonate individuals, businesses, organizations, or public figures.
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful software.
• Engage in fraud, scams, phishing, or deceptive activities.
• Send spam or unauthorized promotional messages.
• Attempt to obtain another person's password or account information.
• Collect or harvest personal information about Canvibers without appropriate authorization or consent.
• Infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual-property rights.
• Use Cavibe for unlawful gambling or other prohibited activities.
• Create fake engagement, including artificial followers, views, likes, comments, or interactions.
• Manipulate or abuse Cavibe's gifts, earnings, marketplace, rewards, or other monetization systems.
• Circumvent security, moderation, account restrictions, or platform safeguards.
• Use Cavibe in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Platform.

Cavibe reserves the right to remove content or take other appropriate action where content or activity violates these Terms or applicable law.

6. Moderation and Enforcement

Cavibe may review, moderate, restrict, remove, or disable access to content or accounts where reasonably necessary to:

• Enforce these Terms.
• Protect Canvibers.
• Protect the Platform and its systems.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats.
• Comply with applicable law or lawful requests.
• Protect the rights of Cavibe or third parties.

Depending on the circumstances, action may include removing content, restricting features, suspending an account, terminating an account, or reporting suspected unlawful activity to appropriate authorities.

7. Gifts, Gems, Earnings and Withdrawals

Cavibe may provide features through which Canvibers can send or receive digital gifts, gems, rewards, or other virtual items.

Such features are subject to the specific rules displayed within Cavibe.

Digital gifts, gems, and virtual items are not necessarily equivalent to cash and may be subject to restrictions, expiration, conversion rules, eligibility requirements, or withdrawal conditions.

Where Cavibe permits eligible Canvibers to withdraw qualifying earnings, applicable processing charges or platform/service fees may apply. Any applicable fee should be displayed or communicated before the relevant transaction is completed.

Cavibe may investigate transactions that appear fraudulent, abusive, manipulated, unauthorized, or inconsistent with these Terms.

Cavibe may delay, restrict, reverse, or withhold transactions where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, comply with legal requirements, or protect the Platform.

8. Marketplace

Cavibe may provide marketplace functionality that allows Canvibers and businesses to advertise, discover, buy, sell, or promote products and services.

Cavibe is not necessarily the seller, buyer, manufacturer, distributor, or owner of products listed by third parties.

Canvibers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings and transactions.

You must not list or promote products or services that are illegal or prohibited by Cavibe's policies or applicable law.

Where a transaction occurs between Canvibers, the parties involved are responsible for complying with applicable laws and fulfilling their respective obligations.

Cavibe may remove listings or restrict marketplace access where necessary.

9. Advertising and Promotions

Cavibe may display advertisements, sponsored content, promotional material, or commercial communications.

Advertisers and other third parties are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their advertisements.

Cavibe does not necessarily endorse products, services, businesses, or claims contained in third-party advertisements.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

Cavibe may contain links to websites, applications, payment providers, services, or other resources operated by third parties.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Cavibe is not responsible for the content, availability, security, or practices of third-party services that it does not control.

You access third-party services at your own discretion and risk.

11. Intellectual Property

Except for Canviber Content, Cavibe and its licensors own or control the intellectual-property rights associated with the Platform, including its software, design, branding, logos, graphics, interfaces, features, text, and other materials.

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of Cavibe's intellectual property.

You may not use Cavibe's trademarks, logos, branding, or other protected materials without appropriate authorization.

12. Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, recommendations, or feedback regarding Cavibe, you agree that Cavibe may use such feedback without compensation or obligation to you, subject to applicable law.

Feedback may be used to improve, develop, or modify Cavibe and its services.

13. Privacy

Your use of Cavibe is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and otherwise process personal information.

By using Cavibe, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review the applicable Privacy Policy.

14. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cavibe may use cookies, local storage, pixels, analytics technologies, and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember preferences, improve functionality, understand usage, provide security, and support advertising or analytics where applicable.

You may be able to control certain cookie settings through your browser or device.

15. Account Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Cavibe at any time.

Cavibe may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary, including where a Canviber:

• Violates these Terms.
• Violates applicable law.
• Engages in fraudulent or abusive activity.
• Creates a security or safety risk.
• Misuses Platform features.
• Attempts to manipulate Cavibe's systems or monetization features.

Where appropriate, Cavibe may provide notice before taking action. However, immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect Canvibers, the Platform, or comply with legal requirements.

Upon termination, your right to access affected Platform features may immediately end.

16. Copyright Policy

Cavibe respects intellectual-property rights.

If you believe that content available through Cavibe infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, you may submit a notice containing sufficient information for Cavibe to identify the allegedly infringing material and assess the complaint.

Cavibe may remove or restrict access to content where appropriate.

Repeated or serious infringement may result in account restrictions or termination.

17. Disclaimer

Cavibe is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

While we work to keep Cavibe secure, reliable, and available, we do not guarantee that:

• The Platform will always be available or uninterrupted.
• The Platform will always be error-free.
• All content will be accurate or complete.
• All features will remain available.
• The Platform will be free from security vulnerabilities or harmful components.

You use Cavibe at your own discretion and risk.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

18. User Interactions

Cavibers may interact with other Canvibers through posts, comments, messages, groups, livestreams, marketplace transactions, and other features.

You are responsible for your interactions with other Canvibers.

Cavibe does not guarantee the identity, conduct, qualifications, products, services, statements, or actions of another Canviber.

If you have a dispute with another Canviber, you should attempt to resolve the matter directly where appropriate and may report relevant activity to Cavibe.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cavibe and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of applicable law.
• Your misuse of the Platform.
• Your Canviber Content.
• Your infringement of another person's rights.

This provision applies to the extent permitted by applicable law.

20. Changes to These Terms

Cavibe may update these Terms from time to time.

When material changes are made, Cavibe may provide notice through the Platform, by email, or through another reasonable communication method.

The updated Terms will become effective on the date specified in the notice.

Your continued use of Cavibe after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

21. Electronic Communications

By using Cavibe, you agree that Cavibe may communicate with you electronically, including through email, in-app notifications, website notices, SMS, or other electronic methods where applicable.

Electronic communications may satisfy legal requirements for written communications where permitted by applicable law.

22. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and disputes arising from your use of Cavibe shall be governed by the applicable laws and dispute-resolution requirements of the jurisdiction applicable to Cavibe and the relevant Canviber, subject to mandatory consumer-protection and other applicable laws.

Before commencing formal proceedings, the parties may attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith communication.

Nothing in this section prevents a person from exercising rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

The specific governing law, courts/arbitration venue, and dispute-resolution procedure should be finalized with Cavibe's legal counsel before publication.

23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

24. No Waiver

Failure by Cavibe to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision in the future.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with Cavibe's Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any additional terms applicable to specific services, constitute the agreement governing your use of Cavibe.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and feature-specific terms, the feature-specific terms may apply to the relevant feature.
